Dr Marinus is an Associate at Swanepoel & Partners.

He has a special interest in Anti-Ageing Medicine, but insists that evidence based medicine remains at the core of consultations.

Dr Marinus graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2008.

He has worked in the South African National Defence Force as a Medical Officer, but entered into private practice in 2012.

He has been a member of the Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine Society of South Africa (AAMSSA) since 2015.

He is a diplomat holder in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

 

The current trend within Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine is to focus on patient wellbeing, and not just external beauty.

The practice provides aesthetic treatments including:  Botulinum Toxin Type A, Dermal Fillers, Chemical Peels and more, but will also focus on integrative medicine and lifestyle counselling.
